  • Great for taking with you when travelling or going on Holiday
  • When folded they take little space
  • High resale value (they keep their price)
  • One size fits many
  • Don’t need a bike rack to transport it
Cons

  • Expensive to buy compared to ordinary bikes
  • Hard to find accessories
  • Can’t fit just any accessory as it may interfere with its foldability
  • Not all fold very quickly
  • Some are very complicated to fold
  • Small wheel  ones can feel unstable ride by novice riders
  • Small wheels don’t deal well with potholes
  • The one size fits most may be an issue for very tall people
