Specialized has identified that on certain 2019 and 2020 Sirrus and Sirrus X models they may be an incorrect installation of the crack. This can potentially affect the safety of the bike.
For this reason, an alert has been issued asking owners to stop riding their bicycle until they can ensure it is safe. Retailers have also been told to stop selling potentially affected models.
The Affected Bike Models are:

Sirrus Sport (incl. EQ and Step-Through versions)
Sirrus X Comp Carbon
2020
Sirrus 3.0
Sirrus 4.0
Sirrus X 3.0
Sirrus X 4.0
Sirrus X 5.0
Bike Owners can find the model name on the top tube (see Fig. 1). On the right side seat stay, they can locate the model name (e.g, “4.0” or “Sport”) see Fig 2. The affected component is a two-piece slotted crank. This thas fixing bolts on each side the clamp to the left side crankarm to the axle (See Fig. 3 and Fig. 4)
Cranks as depicted on Fig. 5 & Fig. 6 are not affected and are OK to keep riding.
